Really,
if you're putting together a website a digital camera is a great investment.
The ability to take still pictures and short video in a format which is very
easy to include in your own web pages is invaluable. As such, here are some

An excellent visual-learning tool, for both teachers and students, to aid thinking about relationships. It allows you to view the same data in different ways: Diagram and Outline.Ideal for concept maps, idea maps, storyboards, webs, etc. Very easy to use and comes with a good manual. A Separate publication "Classroom Ideas Using Inspiration: For Teachers, By Teachers" is also available and recommended. Software: US$70 (multi-machine and site licenses available). Teachers' Manual: US$20.

An excellent collection of education software [for purchase]. My students and I personally used MANY of their titles while at SMEC, and were very impressed.

The California Digital Library
The California Digital Library (CDL) is a tenth library for the University of California (UC). A collaborative
effort of the nine campuses, organizationally housed at the University of California Office of the President, it is responsible for the design, creation, and implementation of systems that support the shared collections of the University of California. The CDL opened to the public - via a Web site linked comprehensively to collections and services - in January 1999. The Science, Technology and Industry Collection will be developed as the first shared digital collection of the CDL. Science and technology account for over 80% of the digital literature now available.
This is the premier source of information that can be found on the Web. Started in 1991 at CERN, by the
original creator of what is now called the WWW, The Virtual Library has become the central indexing point for a set of decentralized, subject-based "libraries". Each collection is maintained by authorities in that field. The Virtual Library Project currently is overseen by Gerard Manning at Stanford University.
